Ryan Ozimek

Ryan (cozimek) is the CEO and founder of PICnet Inc, a Web development and innovations firm providing a variety of services for non-profit and public sector organizations worldwide.  With client-bases in Washington DC, New York, and San Francisco, Ryan often finds himself travelling, but his current home base is in Washington DC where PICnet has its headquarters.

Introduced to Mambo back in 2003 by one of his staff’s developers, Ryan quickly saw the great ability of the CMS to aid non-profit organizations.  After writing two Slashdot stories on the creation of Joomla, Ryan quickly became more heavily involved in the Joomla community.  He now manages the non-profit board on the Joomla forums, and frequently gives speeches in the non-profit community in the US related to the use of open source and Joomla within organizations, and created Joomla Tuesdays, a free gathering of Joomla users and developers across the US in the non-profit sector.

Ryan has a B.A. in Communications from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), and a Masters of Public Policy from UCLA as well.

 
Jacques Rentzke

Jacques (jconsultingza) lives in scenic Cape Town, South Africa. He is the owner of New Web Consulting, which focuses on building and supporting web sites on the Joomla! CMS. He first got involved with Joomla! at the start of 2007 when a client required a Content Management System for their new web site. After some research, he decided on Joomla! and he’s never looked back!

Jacques is an active member of the Cape Town Joomla! User Group and the SAJUG Google group.

 
James Vasile

James Vasile holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from Columbia Law School, where he was a member of the law review and a Stone Scholar.

He also has a bachelor's degree in political science and economics from Fordham University. He spent several years in the litigation department of Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where he worked on a range of cases and dealt with a variety of new media issues.

Vasile has also contributed code and documentation to numerous FOSS software projects. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York.

 
Javier Gomez

Javier Gomez lives in Barcelona and works in the Golferichs civic center where he shares the tasks of teaching and managing cultural events. He has been very involved in the Spanish speaking Joomla! community in the forums, translation and the organization of off-line meetings and events.
He became active in the community in 2007 by organizing the first national Joomla! meeting in Barcelona and has participated in the organization of other events in different cities and countries. He a passionate about the Joomla! community.

 
Marijke Stuivenberg

Marijke Stuivenberg (forum MarijkeS) lives in Enschede, The Netherlands. She got involved in the Joomla Community since 2007. Starting with translating Joomla in Dutch and helping in the Bug Squad. She is also participating in the Joomla Translation Coordination Team en helps testing security issues in JSST.

As one of the co-founders of JoomlaCommunity.eu she is very active in the Dutch Community on many areas. She is the leader of the Dutch Translation Team which maintains the Dutch Translations for Joomla and many 3rth party extensions.

Marijke is a musician by profession, in daily life she teaches young and old(er) how to play the Saxophone.

Paul (forum username: porwig) first learned about Joomla! in 2008 when he was asked to develop a website for his son's high school baseball program. After doing research to choose a content management system for that project, he concluded that not only was Joomla! the best solution, but that it also had the friendliest and and most helpful community.

Paul has over 15 years of professional internet and web technology experience along with a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver. He works as a freelance web solutions provider based in Parker, Colorado.

He has contributed to the Joomla! community as a member of the Community Leadership Team, lead editor for the Joomla! Community Magazine, webmaster for the Joomla! Community Portal, and co-manager of the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

 

 
Alice Grevet

After completing a professional certificate in website design at the American University of Paris in 2001, Alice became a Mambo user, followed soon thereafter by Joomla! In 2005 she formed Hosting Paris with OSM member Dianne Henning, specializing in Joomla! website solutions for Paris-based non-profits.

She served a seven year term as Webmanager for FAWCO, the largest federation of American clubs overseas, earning the Circle of Honor award. She is Operations Manager for the Online Publishers Association Europe, a non-profit organization whose mission is the viability of digital media for producers of original news content.

On the Joomla! Community Magazine Alice edits Feature and International Stories, and is working to build the multilungual article section. Every week she enjoys co-hosting JoomStew Radio, where guests share their expertise and experience in building Joomla! websites.

Robert Deutz, born 1966, after successfully finishing his study electrotechnics, worked for several system houses as a Project engineer and founded Robert Deutz Business Solution in 2002. Since then he is occupied with solutions for medium-sized companies and works as consultant for various companies. The Internet is on the top of his agenda for 15 years now and he discovered Mambo CMS beginning 2004. The incomplete documentation of Mambo was the reason he started writing the Book about CMS Mambo that was released in 2005. Since the start of the Joomla-project Robert supported the project, he has released many extension for Joomla! and he is one of the creators of the beez teemplate.

 
Dianne Henning

Dianne is an American in Paris since 1992 and has a background in both print and web-based graphic design. She has coordinated and produced the graphics and print material for several high-profile, non-profit organizations in Paris. These projects include everything from event invitations to large-scale art exhibitions, catalogs, logo design, style guides and brand manuals.

She obtained a professional certificate in website design at the American University of Paris in 2001 where she met fellow OSM member Alice Grevet. In 2005, they formed Hosting Paris, which specializes in web solutions for Paris-based non-profits.

Initially introduced to Mambo, she quickly went to Joomla! and has been a fan ever since. Dianne is also very active with the Joomla! Community Magazine as a General editor and Media editor.

 
Altansukh Tumenjargal

Sukh lives in Ulaanbaatar city, Mongolia. He works as a Country Manager in Amadeus IT Group and serves as a Coordinator for Mongolian Joomla! Community since 2007.

Altansukh has a Banking and Finance degree, however his professional career is all in IT. During his career he worked in United Nations and USAID projects. He is a member of Translation coordination team and head of the Joomla! User Group Ulaanbaatar. Contributed in development of Joomla! International edition and currently maintains Mongolian translation for Joomla!.
